NIT Calicut is conducting offline interviews for the engagement of a Project Lead/Post-Doctoral Fellow (on a contract basis) and Project Fellow/JRF/SRF (on a contract basis) for a research project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Calicut. Educational Qualifications:

Project Lead/ Post-Doctoral Fellow:

(1) Ph.D. (submitted or awarded) in Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area or M.Tech with minimum 3 years of experience in relevant area (at least one degree (UG or PG) in Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical engineering/ relevant area) (OR)
(2) Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area) with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant area).

Project Fellow/ JRF/ SRF:

(1) M.Tech (at least one degree (UG or PG) in (Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area) (OR)
(2) Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area) from IIT/ NIT/ CFTI (OR)
(3) Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area) with valid score in national level tests like GATE, NET, etc. (OR)
(4) Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ relevant area) with minimum 2 years of experience in relevant area.

NIT Calicut Recruitment Application Fee:

For Group A Posts: ₹ 400/- for SC / ST / Women candidates & ₹ 800/- for others.

For Group B Posts: ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Women candidates & ₹ 500/- for others.

For Group C Posts: ₹ 100/- for SC / ST / Women candidates & ₹ 200/- for others.

No fee for PwD category candidates.

➢ The candidates are required to fill in their basic details, qualifications and experience (if applicable) and other such details and submit the application.

➢ On successful submission of the online application, a pdf of the application will be generated, which can be downloaded.
